This week's Beano thread split

I was reading the Beano section of this forum before when I noticed that some of the posts from the this week's issue Part 2 thread had been put into a new topic under the same title. I wanted to know why this has occurred - was it intentional or accidental?
I was a bit surprised to see this myself, as several of the posts lose their context as the new topic starts at a point in the middle of a discussion. Also, I can understand why the comments about Alan Digby, Trevor Metcalfe and speculation might be moved, but some of the posts that were moved were simply discussing the latest issue of the comic.
