Ahh i always like titles that are "part of" the strip and not just some plain typed text stuck on as an afterthought!

Agreed. I miss Bash Street having a different title panel each week.

Have you seen any of these yet?

Last one's a homage to the old "Ivy's Nightmares" single panel feature

The middle three title panels have definitely appeared in the comic at different points. I'm not sure whether the final one you've shown has been in it, but I don't think I've seen the top on the comic yet.

It's nice to have a good range of title panels for the strip, as it does add to the visual interest of the page.

I draw each banner to suit specific strip and won't be reusing any if i can help it :)

Glad everyone's enjoying the new Ivys so far

Would you dare to attempt a Will Eisner Spirit style title header?

Mind you it could be a lot of work that is then turned down by the editor.

I like the way you show time passing in the same panel..

Also its nice Ivy is more a menace again..
The strip reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes..which I love..
also because its more cartooney you can do more fantasy stuff..or extreem stuff like when Ivy smashes through a window after being hit by a punch bag for example.
