BEANO 1973 NO DATE ANY HELP?
I have a Beano annual 1973 that has no date to covers nor a price inside, I have been told this is quite rare as it is possibly an publishers advance copy, it is in mint condition, but was wondering if anyone can confirm this is a publishers copy or just one that got through the printing press without the cover dates and internal price? many thanks

It could also have been printed in anticipation for sale overseas.
I have recently noticed that annuals I have bought here, in New Zealand, are often without the year on the cover. And yet I find that the same annuals when viewed on the 'Annuals/Books' section of this site do indeed have year printed on them.
Maybe the books didn't make it out here in time for the pre-Christmas market and this meant that the books had a longer shelf life past the traditional Christmas sales period?
