For some reason, the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s pages have all gone missing.

Gutted, these pages were always a nice place to find information.
Re: Retro website cut back
It's almost certainly a consequence of the Golden Ticket crash, so maybe they'll return after the promotion finishes.
Re: Retro website cut back
Could be technical problems, probably related to the Golden Ticket crash, rather than deliberate. There's also an error message in the bottom right "This page can't be seen by the current user. Please check page privacy and visibility settings."
I've e-mailed them via the site anyway.

Re: Retro website cut back
The error message you just described is Facebook related.
Re: Retro website cut back
The Retro Beano section seems to all be back up and running fine now. Guess it was a temporary technical error, which is good.
Gone for 14 days...
Re: Retro website cut back
Looks like the theory of the Golden Ticket overload causing it was correct then.
Re: Retro website cut back
Updates at the Beano's website have stopped completely (even the Golden Ticket subscription was aborted early, as it's two issues out of date now and should've also included the next two, as it was meant to be three months from the start of September), so I think both Beano and Dandy's websites will relaunch together.
It's a good thing for DCT that Watchdog is off air until next year, because I think the Golden Ticket thing deserves to be on it. People were annoyed at the fact most people only got the sub instead of one of the main prizes, and then they didn't even give it for the promised period of time.

Re: Retro website cut back
After Halloween, there'd been only two updates before today - for a Lego advert in January and a prank face-off last week. But now updates are back to normal. As well as the Prize or Prank competition, they've actually updated the latest issue link! And not before time.

aint much of an update if they are still advertising the 2011 annuals at the side instead of 2013
