I've always liked the slang term "Bugle" for nose. Is everyone aware that when you put your thumb on your nose and waggle your fingers as an insult its called cocking a snook? I think the snook comes from snout. I seem to remember there was a reference in Shakespeare (famous author) along the lines of "Do you thumb your nose at me?" Must have been in Romeo and whatserface as that's the only one i've read - in college.
Blowing a raspberry is rhyming slang by the way - raspberry tart - fart.
I remember being mildly horrified when the Dandy referred to itself as "Home of the trouser trump since 1937" - anybody know where that appeared? Within the past few years.
