mustapha look......I remember LEW saying he done some 'I SPY' work in 2000, which I missed out on; as far as I now this is the first all-new material on the character since BRIAN WALKER did some 'CHAMP' originals in the mid-80s.

Sorry I'm a little confused, is Lew's 'I-Spy' work in 266 new or is it a reprint from 2000? I haven't picked up my copy yet.

It ought to be a reprint. To the best of my knowledge, they're not commissioning any new strips for the Fun-Size comics, although some of the features may have new puzzles etc.

i'M pretty sure it's a reprint.....one of the interior drawings was used as the 2000 cover. The style is very modern [as it's bound to be, the original is a VINTAGE strip now]------well worth a look ,however, it reminded me of how the strip might have looked if it were adapted for TV animation today.

[SOME modern animation is fine, so this wasn't meant as an insult, LEW!-------far from it.]

Thanks for the heads up folks. I wasn't aware that had been reprinted as our local shops don't stock the Fun-Size books. (I think a Tesco in the next town has them.)

The original appeared in Fun-Size Dandy No.63, in 2000. Its story title then was "Ha! Ha! Said the Clown!".

I was a big fan of I-Spy as a kid and loved drawing that I-Spy strip for FSD. I believe that, to date, that was the last appearance of him. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
