Dandy Competition Gift

Post by booksandcomics »

Just wondering if anyone has ever seen a Dandy competition items given away in 1987.

It was called a Peloc and described as "an outdoor game for all the family. The Paloc resembles a giant 3-legged shuttlecock and is hurled from play to player using a light-weight metal sling".

I've got pictures of the two adverts printed;

Looking at the drawing and it being described as a "metal sling", it appears to be the least safe item to be given to a kid! Has anyone ever come across one? I know during the Dandy & Hoot / Nutty years that they gave away something called LaLa bikes too.
