Hit, miss or maybe?

Personally, I like Nick's version. It's very different in realisation from Steve's Brassneck back in the 1980s, but the scripting has recaptured the innocence of the scripts that Bill Holroyd illustrated way back in the 1960s and 70s, with Brassneck back to being a boy who is metal and can do a few extra things. It's very fun.

Handy that he was re-introduced more or less the same time that the Cybermen were in Doctor Who.

Bill Holroyd's version remains the definitive one for me. I can still remember the day the strip began, about 42 years ago!

I read somewhere that Bill Holroyd was Ken Reid's brother in law. Small world eh?
