Can anyone help with what this free gift came from please? It rings bells but I can't place it!

It looks like The Falcon, a costumed crime fighter who appeared in later issues of Radio Fun.

You're a star David, thanks very much. With your info I was able to work out that it is the free gift from Radio Fun #991

Yes. Identified as 'Free Gift A79 MODEL PLANE' on page 43 of my 2005 publication Free Gifts In The Big Five. It was called Soarer Plane K.C.S. 23.
