RORY MACDUFF?

[Old Forum Fella]

I remember this lengthy story from an annual. First name might have been Rollo now I come to think of it. "Modern Day" type story with the intrepid adventurer who arrives on an island which is home to a mad scientist and killer plants, one of which is huge and lives in a cave. Anyone else remember this and any other useful trivia like the artist etc

Strangely reading this annual yesterday.Action 1979.It was Rory MacDuff and the Whispering Menace.No idea about artist or writer but looks like a reprint.

I think the artist on that story was Reg Bunn. People will remember him from 'The Spider' in The Lion.

There are complete lists in both 'The Lion Index' and 'The Fleetway Companion' by Steve Holland. Not sure if anyone has published a list on-line though. If you can wait a day or two I'll publish the list here.

Thank you very much. But Mountains of the Sun also was prose story, isn't it? And I think that title should be The Ghost of Dommley Dell, not Doomly Hall.

Is there any informations who were creators of four stories from annuals?

I found five complete stories published in Yugoslavia, and two incomplete.
