Thanks, guys.

Best weather for it too plus Beano was a good read and a nice nod to bygone characters.

And that was followed by a trip to the seaside for a good ol' fashioned fish 'n' chips. Yummy!

A copy of Rebellion's The Vigilant came through the post today. A good read.

I may be shooting in the wind but the the word 'Vigilant' looks very much like 'Valiant'. Coincidence? :shhh:

On top of that, now having decided not to collect the Dan Dare Titan books, I have been going through my Hawk collection. Gripping stuff.

I've finally managed to read The Trigan Empire. I bought it a few years ago but never got around to reading it. Brilliant!

I visited the Worthing Museum and Art Gallery’s Tank Girl exhibition. While only consisting of a small number of items, it was certainly quality over quantity - and in Tank Girl’s own home town.

Having just come back from a break visiting relatives, am now sat in favourite chair reading Von Hoffman's Invasion while watching Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

Sid, that’s a film I still haven’t seen for no particular reason and very much want to. Grease is another. Also The Shawshank Redemption.

I don't remember the third but the first two are good films, Shiner. In fact, Wrath of Khan is my favourite ST.

I quite like the first film. It was certainly spectacular Sci-Fi and reminded me a little of 2001: A Space Odyssey in the effects. And Uhura looked good in it.

It just didn't feel like Star Trek.

TBH, it's naff but enjoyable naff. Plus each episode is only half an hour long.

So worth a try in my book.
