Peter, I've just noticed that instead of reducing you've increased your latest scans on your blog from 96dpi to a whopping 150dpi. There's no need for such a large resolution for a website. As I've said before, 72dpi is good enough and will save you room on your rapidly shrinking file space. Hope that helps.

Image I've found the number 150 and changed it to 80...hopefully I done it right now//.72 the text wasn't clear enough..

I'm up to 97% of my space so will have to convert a lot of my other blog posts as well..

Hi Peter, Using up 97% in just two years is a mammoth amount of space. (My blog is at something like 43%.) You should still be able to retain the legibility at 72ppi if you have the image at 30cm width for a full page. Here's the settings I usually use:

I know you're not using Photoshop but does your software have a similar window where you can adjust sizes?

Hope that helps.

I'm doing everything which you show above...making the bottom one 72..

But when it is saved it jumps to 150..my optimizer is on low and I save as a JPG...it is a mystery..

I might up load to image shack they resize it for you..
thanks for pointing me in the right direction..

Your optimiser seems to be overriding the resolution setting then - try a higher level. You'll soon work it out if you experiment. :)

Hi
I've added the paypal logo to my blog
http://petergraycartoons.blogspot.com/

So people can use paypal to buy prints..
I have a paypal account due to ebay..

What happens when someone uses paypal to buy a print..?
I've put prices up on the site..do I get an email when someone buys..?
this is all a bit new for me..thought it would be better for people to buy then using a cheque..

Is the logo enough or do I need to put anything else up..?

thanks for the help..it is hard setting up your own business.. :)
