You have whoever compiles the next week's issue preview page to thank for that. :)

I loved Little Bruce this week and all the catch phrases..

Also found funny Harry hills fans not believing who he was..me thinks this is based on what Harry comes across...as in public he sometimes has a beard..stubble..

Also Korky was sublime..and should be back on the cover next to the title..

The Toilet duck was clever..liked the synchronized swimming... :)

Also the Desperate Dan gag of fish custard served in the cafe

I think Doctor Who probably inspired the fish custard.

That's good news. I did think that something was going on, why advertise a single line strip on the next issue page?

Plenty of copies here in the Midlands, although strangely Smiths still had last week's Dandy and Beano on sale with this weeks.

Same here. I got my Beano, but no Dandy. I figured maybe they only put out one copy and it sold already, but from what you guys are saying, it may have failed to arrive. Which is odd, since the Beano is in plentiful supply. :?

Incidentally, thanks to the way The Beano was bagged up, it was occupying the spaces where both Beano and Dandy usually go.

What I can tell you is that The Dandy has a big barcode sticker on the cover because it seems a mistake in production meant the barcode wasn't printed on the cover. Perhaps they haven't finished stickering all the copies yet for your areas.

Imitation being the sincerest form of flattery, who's seen this week's Toxic?

- No plastic bag so you can flip through it in the shop
- Harry Hill on the front cover
- Harry Hill comedy pages inside
- Simon Cowell based comedy inside
- and even strips by Lew Stringer, Laura Howell & Nigel Auchterlounie.

Snap!

You must be looking at an old one Kev. This week's is inside a Christmassy foil bag. Laura's not in The Dandy, and I've been working for Toxic since issue 1 eight years ago. Otherwise you're right.

No Beano or Dandy in Belfast at all. They've obviously been held up due to the weather - I haven't even got my subscription Beano yet.
