Classics from the Comics Wikia

Post by Dunder Ed »

I have a favour to ask....

A while ago I started a wikia about British comics and characters where anyone can add pages and edit them. I would love it if anyone would put some content on there. At the moment it is a work in progress, but I'm sure that some input form some of you guys would help. http://classicsfromthecomics.wikia.com/ ... omics_Wiki

Thanks

I'll see what I can do, Ed---it's such a mammoth task putting these sites together. I may add a character or two, though....

Thanks I Spy

I know its a large thing to undertake. But I'm sure over the years it will start to build up.

These two wikis might be useful in creating your new wiki.

http://ukcomics.wikia.com/

http://britishcomics.wikia.com/

What does your wiki cover all of DC Thomson's funnies up to 2000 or just The Beano, The Dandy, The Beezer, The Topper, and The Sparky as mentioned on the homepage?

I may add to the wiki. Firstly by copying things that I have written on other wikis and then maybe some new stuff on strips/artists that I particularly like. Actually I know alot about Hoot I could add some stuff about Hoot on there.

I am hoping for any comic character from any of the IPC or DCT humour titles. At the beginning of this website these were the only ones I was interested in. A page about Hoot would be great!
