Wacky Comics

Post by George Shiers »

I haven't really done much self promoting but I thought I might as well. Here's a link to my comics blog which I've been writing since February 2011. I only really cover British comics but the other day I wrote about American superheroes. There's just over 380 posts online at the moment and I generally post 3 - 4 times a week, sometimes more sometimes less.

I hope you like it, if you haven't seen it before!

In case anyone is wondering why there is a Mauser pistol at the top it was actually released in the 60s as a Man From UNCLE merchandise - I had one and it had U.N.C.L.E. embossed on the side although they never used those guns in the series. That Beano number 1 is definitely not a facsimile copy.

If you're talking about the one in the Compal Comics post - I never said it was a facsimile. :?:

It was a joke - based on its looking every bit its 75 year oldness. Nowhere in my message have I alluded to you saying it was a facsimile.
