Earl's Court exhibition centre

Post by stevezodiac »

I don't know if members are aware but the exhibition centres are being demolished to make way for a housing estate. My desk overlooks the scene and here is a photo taken last week. I never attended the centre but I am sure some of you here may have attended comic cons or gigs there

The London Film and Comic Con moved to Olympia last year because of this but I thought Earl's Court was a better venue.

I noticed this morning that District Line trains at Earl's Court are still announcing "alight here for the exhibition centres". I have just sent an e-mail to the Metro letters page pointing this out.
