No, nothing yet, Digi.

When I subscribed, I was given the choice of issue date to start with so I chose the first new look issue. So it will be interesting to see if DCT goes through with that or start with the next available issue. Not fussed either way though the longer it takes for the first issue to come through the door, the more I am leaning towards 'the next available issue'.

They are picked up on a Wednesday normally, a week in advance of publication (yes, TNT/Whistl are that rubbish) so if you subscribed after that, they come as back issues.

Still no subscription and so far I've been buying Beano from one of the supermarkets. I must admit, I thought I would be getting it by now.

I think they have done that since it finally arrived today and it's just this week's issue.

The subscription gift came the other day but no current issue. It will be interesting to see if it will arrive before next Wednesday when the next issue is due to come out.

Talking about the subscription issue, it does seem that I'm getting it two days (Monday) before the local supermarkets (Wednesday).

This week's Beano reflects the show's changes - Pie-Face has his new design, and De Testa has been written out.

Well, my kids begged me to turn it off half way through.

"This isn't funny..." exclaimed "Dennis".

Never a truer word spoken.

My youngest has been liking it! But I haven't been watching it myself though.

Both of you, how old are your kids? They're obviously aiming at a pretty young target audience.
