The new Doctor Who series 11 teaser featured Bradley Walsh's character having his newspaper replaced with the 1981 beano summer special.

It's a pity a method couldn't be found of attaching the comics to non-harmful 'extensions' within bound comics volumes, that would enable the comics to be read fully and easily without cropping or making it difficult to see the centre page spreads. I use these magi-clips to put comics and magazines...

This is from "Rumpole of the Bailey", series 05 ep 05 "Rumpole and Portia", broadcast 21st December 1988. Can't get clear screenshots, but i think the boy passing through shot is reading a Beano.
