Re: What comics did you buy today?
Although I'm trying to sell my comics collection I will be hanging onto my Mad magazines along with a few other much loved titles. I've always had a soft spot for Mad. Luckily Don Martin, Mort Drucker, Dave Berg, Jack Davis, George Woodbridge and Angelo Torres were still contributing in the 1980s.

Re: What comics did you buy today?
Two weeks ago I picked up 55 copies of Charles Buchan's Football Monthly at Kempton Park Antiques Fair for £20. They were 1950s to early 1970s issues. The seller said they'd bring more issues to the next fair which was yesterday. There was no sign of the seller yesterday but I didn't come home empty ...

Re: Good bye comics uk website
I'm 70 now and slowly selling off my collection through an auction house, I gave up on ebay last April due to the unfathomable "Simple Delivery". I too need one issue of Super DC but thought it was issue 14 but it could be 13. I'll keep some titles, my Power comics, TV Comics and Mad magazines which ...

Re: WHAT IS THE MOST VALUABLE COMIC IN YOUR COLLECTION?
It was probably Daredevil #1 which my mate Terry Smith gave to me around 1970. We used to go around buying comics together in the 1960s. We lost contact when he married and moved away but a few years ago I got off the bus where I live and there he was with his wife and three children visiting his ...

Re: SUPERCAR
I've only ever had freeview so no idea what a Sky box is. This unit has built in freeview so you can only record freeview channels but you only need an indoor aerial to get it working.

Re: SUPERCAR
You can buy freeview boxes for less than £30 on ebay (brand new) that allow recording to a USB stick. I've got two. I have complete series' of old shows on one stick. 64gb capacity.

Picked this up some years ago. Tomorrow it's off to an auction house with a bundle of comics. I can't find any images of it online so I thought I'd preserve it here before it leaves my hands.
