Re: CLZ comic app
I use the similar app from the same company, for dvds, blurays etc, & it's a godsend. As for comics, I use Microsoft excel , & i have the files saved on my networked hard drive, so when i'm at a boot sale, charity shop, etc, i can easily just download the updated file & check the list for issues i'm...

Re: RELUCTANTLY SELLING COLLECTION
Hi Brian,
I'd be interested in any summer holiday specials that aren't already sold (depending on the price, of course).

Re: how many Buster issues?
Sorry, you're right there, 29th Dec 1979. Not sure how i could've got it wrong really, Excel should have predicted it, as i'd set it to work out every date as being 7 days after the previous one, (allowing for missing issues).

Re: how many Buster issues?
Hi Matt, For 1971, you have 48 issues on the main decades page, but only 46 are listed, plus the one which is un-highlighted in July, making 47. December 30th 1979 is missing from your list You have 2 hiatuses from 12th January to 16th February and 10th May to 14th June (all 1980), but those 4 issue...

Re: Unpublished issues of Whoopee
I'm sure someone would have done. OCD still existed back then, just had a different name.

Re: Unpublished issues of Whoopee
It's an easy mistake to make, & they probably weren't expecting anyone to be scrutinizing it 30 years later. They probably just counted 500 weeks from the first week, & either forgot about the missing weeks, or chose to ignore it.

Re: Unpublished issues of Whoopee
I have the same for W&C, but can't say for ROTR, as i was never interested in football or war based comics, only the humour comics.

Re: Unpublished issues of Whoopee
I have the issue from 17th December 1983 being the 500th issue of 567, ending on 30th March 1985. The following week, Whoopee was squeezed into Whizzer & Chips.
Of course, i may be wrong, but i'm 99% sure it's accurate.

Re: how many Buster issues?
It's probably because of the 4 double issues. I don't know if they're actually labelled as double issues (i know there was a Whizzer & Chips that had 2 dates on it, & was labelled as a double issue). If an issue has 2 dates on it's cover, it's feasible that both dates were counted.

Re: how many Buster issues?
a double issue is one comic one issue.I think only one double issue in 94 and i think the other was the last one of 93 carrying over into 1st week of 94 so i have that as 1 less issue in 93 with both years only having 51 issues. Sorry, that's what i meant, didn't quite explain it to make sense. It ...

Re: how many Buster issues?
Well, I didn't buy them when they first came out, but I only need 6 more issues to complete the set... So when you get the remaining six, KP, as you are confident that you will then have the full run, counting a double issue as two issues how many issues will you have? Your answer should put the ma...

Re: Cheeky mini-comics, 1978
I think I missed one mini comic out! Yeah, there would've been 4 Cheeky mini-comics in the other 4 titles, plus 4 other mini-comics in the 4 issues of Cheeky. Looks like you're missing the Cheeky mini-comic from W&C 22nd July 1978, I'll have a look when i get home from work at the weekend, & will s...

Re: how many Buster issues?
My list differs to yours on 1971, 1980 & 1994 - i have the first 5 weeks of 1971 as having no issues, making 47 for the rest of the year. For 1980, i have 4 issues missing between 19th Jan - 9th Feb inclusive, plus another 4 between 15th May - 7th June inclusive, making 44 in 1980. In 1994, the 16th...
