Re: Comic Archive, Beyond 2000AD

I really only came back into the British comics fold about three years back. I would have loved to have read the Thirteen floors collection.

Re: STRIP Rant

I'd love it to recover but its hard to see it coming back from this. It may well have already expired.

Think twice before subscribing folks.

Re: Blimey! It's back!

I'm reactivating my old blog if anyone's interested. I won't be posting there as often as I used to but when I do I'll still be covering old UK comics that take my fancy... http://lewstringer.blogspot.co.uk/ Lew this is brilliant news. I have missed this enormously. As I have said before when I cam...

Re: What happened to Yellowed Pages??!!

This seems to have taken a strange turn.

Anyway all I wanted to do was to acknowledge the debt I felt to the Cap for all the huge degree of fun he provided when I returned to the fold. Guys like him, Lew Stringer, Steve Holland and Co have been great tour-guides.

Thanks one and all.

Re: What happened to Yellowed Pages??!!

If the demise is permanent it saddens me. I really only came back into the British comic fold a few years ago and Yellowed Pages was an indispensable companion to my zealous return.

Re: What happened to Yellowed Pages??!!

There's no sign of Yellowed Pages or the good Captain Storm on the interweb! Please tell me the absence is temporary. Crumbled to dust and blew away in the wind perhaps? Never let your pages get yellow. (And never eat yellow snow.) I honestly thought that the demise of something as good as yellowed...

Re: What comics did you buy today?

I bought a copy of Wham No. 73 (1965) recently with the Odhams notes on who should be paid what for the work of preparing the strips - Baxandale only did the Tiddlers, 2 pages out of 20. It's all good stuff though!! ...bought a copy of Swift No. 2 from 1954 at the Comic Mart in London today, and a ...

Re: Strip 2.2 in newsagents from tomorrow...

Just buy a copy from WH Smiths... Tony I did that last time but was the hit by a radical thought-why buy the comic twice? I paid for a sub in good faith and there is very little in the way of precise information as to why the subs have not been delivered. Even Strips facebook page puts the responsi...
