Managed to win a few Buster Summer Specials on ebay, got 74, 81, Buster & Monster Fun 81 & 83 and the one I'm most looking forward to is the first Buster from 69.

Re: Busters Comic Library #29
Yeah they have all popped up in the last year since I have been looking except for number 10 & 29. I've logged into Ebay Australia and will keep an eye out there and hope to see 29 on there at some point.big bad bri wrote:I have just seen iss 30 on ebay.
Getting back to Film Fun - I don't think I've actually watched a Martin/Lewis comedy film, they aren't available in a box set as yet.
I'm pretty sure I have/had a Martin/Lewis DVD box set with some of their films and I purchased it at least 5 years ago. Busters Comic Library #29
Until recently I was under the impression that Buster Comic Library number 29 was never released/printed but I've since discovered that it was printed but not sold in the UK. I've read that its been sold at a New Zealand auction a couple of times which has now set my radar going as aside from 29, I ...

Bought some more Busters today. Am pleased because I have now completed 69, 73 & 74 so dont have many to go for the period 68-86. Also bought a couple of Cor from 1972.

Re: Beginnings
I have thrown comics away in my youth but now wouldnt dream of it. One of the reasons I have started collecting again and it may sound silly is because I want to try and retain some of the past history regarding UK comics and I assume as each year goes by, each title becomes more scarce. I'm hoping ...

Re: Beginnings
My comic collecting started with issue #3 of Battle Picture Weekly back in 1975. Bought for me by my mum. I’d obviously seen and read comics prior to that (round my nan's), but never once did I think about actually buying any. I was only on 50p a week pocket money, which usually went on Buttersnap ...

Re: What comics did you buy today?
A number of Buster comics from 1968-1986 from 30th Century comics. Now only need about 42 from this period to complete. Also won a number of Cor collections on ebay yesterday. Decent value for over 100 comics.
