Re: Complete Collections
I’m looking forward to getting his book next week. He is a great character apparently and yes, it wasn’t all business. I'm aware of this book and will also be purchasing, I do have one Alan Class book already that features covers of his publications. I'm hoping that this will be more personable. Di...

That’s lovely!stevezodiac wrote: ↑25 Nov 2024, 16:09Is this 1915 Rainbow the first ever Summer Special? It has 24 pages and, unlike the normal weekly issue, is stapled. I'll try to find a normal 1915 issue to check the page count but I'd guess it had 8 pages.

Re: Complete Collections
Tales of the Underworld, the quite obscure Alan Class Series was completed this morning. Only 10 in the series, but so difficult to find at reasonable prices!
I've completed a few of the smaller series by Class, but I'm now only 8 issues away from completing one of his big 6. The hunt continues.......

Re: What comics did you buy today?
I had Wonder Weekly #1, the Esso comic from 1968 delivered this morning. I’ve been after it for years, so very happy to finally get it in my collection. I dropped out of the bidding on that before it got to a tenner - glad it's gone to a good home though! I can’t remember seeing one for sale before...

Re: What comics did you buy today?
Came across my copy of Buster number 1 at the weekend. Scared to put it on ebay in case buyer complains of non receipt and I have to refund them. Losing money and comic. There are people who do such a thing and ebay gives them the benefit of the doubt. It costs peanuts to send it tracked. I do it e...

Re: Filing and storing comics
Second hand filing cabinets are cheap as most businesses have digitalised and don’t need to store paper. We gave away dozens of cabinets on Freecycle over a decade ago. Look on your local version or Gumtree and you may be pleasantly surprised at the price. Transporting them can be an issue though!
