Favourite Comic Strip
On the back of an e-mail with colcool007 I thought i'd ask what everyone's favourite strips were. I can't just pick one, but these have stuck firmly in my mind. Meltdown Man - 2000ad, probably if I had to pick one, my favourite. I have 4,500 comics so it's very hard to pick one. Harry 20 on the High...

Your comic collection?
Your not kidding about the summer special thing, some of the prices of Summer Specials are frightening (e-bay mainly). I tried to get the Tornado Special a few months back and thought ?15 max, it went for over double that! Scream Summer specials are as "Rare as Rocking Horse crap" and VERY expensive...

Your comic collection?
Hi Colcool007
Victor, 80% after two and a half months! Plus all the Annuals in mint condition (those were easy) and a smattering of specials, they are harder to get as competition is fierce for them on e-bay!

Please Help, it's driving me nuts! See if anyone can answer
Hi Everyone Finally managed to get some of the Victors, The answer "White Tiger" is exactly right. I felt a great weight lift off me when I read it. The "Lion" has finally gone to sleep. Really chuffed about this as it had been nagging away at me for decades, just flicking through some Victors I rec...

Eagle Picture Library
I have the first six issues of a publication called the Eagle Picture Library, released early to mid eighties. Does anybody know how many of them were released? It's about the same size as a copy of Commando.
hope someone can help

One of them must be right, have been trying to get the Hotspur's mentioned by Kashgar. It really sounded right apart form one fact. I was only 4 when it was released. The date range of the Victor you mentioned is smack bang in the middle of my comic "childhood". I will try and get the issues of the ...

Deadline 1988 - 1995
Can anyone give me any info on the above publiction? Wikipedia isn't too much use. What I really need is the number of them and the dates. I would like to read them but I have to know more about them so I can start trying to get them. I have all the Crisis and Revolver and have enjoyed reading them ...

Complete Runs + Specials + Annuals
Just had a good root through the annuals & specials section. Learn't about a few things I didn't know existed. Especially the Revolver Special, will definately be on the look out for that one. One question, when looking at the section for specials for 2000AD I was surprised it wasn't complete. Missi...

Collecting Long runs
Congratulations Earl. I have eventually done the same with Starlord and the solitary Summer Special. Only got the Annuals to go on that one. Just wondered if you thought about trying e-bay? I got all three of my Starlord annuals from there, very reasonable too. Missed out on the 1982 one going for ...

E-Bay Good or Bad ???
I have recently been using E-Bay to complete various collections of comics, 80's Eagle, Crunch, Buddy to name but a few. I started wondering what people think, and this is only my opinion, about how e-bay has completely changed how people get a hold of rare or missing issues of comics. I have wanted...

Complete Runs + Specials + Annuals
Hi Everyone! I know there has been a lengthy debate, really interesting reading too, about the collections and full runs people have. I have a number of full runs. Just wondered if there was anywhere that gave "an easy to understand and interpret list" of how many of a given comic / magazine were ac...
