Hello, has any enthusiast of Beryl the Peril and/or the Numskulls ever made a list of the reprints in the Funday Times and where they first appeared?

This weekend was the 40th anniversary of the release of Mighty World of Marvel 1 which was bought for me by my mum a month before my 7th birthday. This one was the comic that got me into Marvel and the addiction has never waned.

A while ago I came across a posting (possibly in this forum) with a scan of a page of Beryl from a 1965 Topper annual from the Guardian magazine in 2006. The attached article was written by Candy Guard. Does anyone know the whereabouts of this scan or have a scan of this page they can send me?

Quite a shame really. Would have made a lovely gift for a young person. Does no one have a license to publish UK DC comics nowadays?

Does anyone have these annuals and if so tell me if they have any comic strips in them or are they all articles about the movie?

Can anyone tell me which run of issues featured classic Davey Law reprints? These are the ones I would have read in annuals in the early 70's.

I have acquired a 70's collection of UK comics and have found a loose pink flyer for Twinkle for May 3rd 1972 for a free pearl-drop necklace. Anyone have an idea which comic this might have dropped out of?

And lo and behold - Beano 1751 is in this collection with no centrespread. Thanks ever so much for helping me make this comic whole again.

I acquired a collection of late 60s to mid 70s british comics and in the box there is the pull out centrespread advertising Bullet no. 1. Does anyone remember which DC Thomson title and issue this appeared in so I can reunite it with the correct comic book. This would have been around Jan/Feb 1976.

I was sorting out some copies of Judy to sell on Ebay and came across a strip done by one of the great British comic book artists, Ron Smith, called the Desert Kid. Is anyone aware of stuff he did for the girls' comic market?

Hello all, my middle class dilemma this week is that I bought an unclipped copy of Lion Annual 1972 to replace my clipped copy. However the unclipped copy has a slightly looser spine and has slight tanning on the edge of the pages. The clipped copy however is lovely for a 1972 annual - it is tight ...

They have these at book shop near Victoria station in London for £12.99 - I'm very tempted to get one. Does anyone know where they are in London for £9.99?

I picked up the 1976 Whizzer and Chips annual at a car boot sale today which had the year missing from the cover and spine. The annual in the comics uk gallery has the year printed on the cover. Has anyone else come across any Fleetway annuals like this?
