I recently obtained a rare, production-used shooting script for Carry On Screaming, written by Talbot Rothwell, which was sold at a Surrey auction house on their Halloween special event on 31 October 2024. Pictures to follow very soon.

Just added some more Beano and Dandy comics to my collection. First is a Beano issue no.224 1944 in VG+ condition, plus two Dandy comics, issue no.456 1950, and no.477 1951. Both are in FN & FN- condition.

And lots more that I am slowly smuggling home ...

Besides having all 38 Dandy comics and annual released in 1949, I'm 3 comics away from having all 26 from 1946. I'm 3 issues from completing the 1948 run, and 8 comics away from completing the Beano run of 29 comics from 1949.

Just sourced my first page (s) 20 & 21 of Buster, "Ivor Lott and Tony Broke", comic art signed by the artist, Sid Burgon. I'm yet to source the comic featured, but here's a stock example, Buster issue, 6th June, 1987. :)

Just added to my collection a very nice vintage quad poster from the classic 1964 film, "The Bargee", starring the late great Harry H. Corbett, Ronnie Barker, and a who's who cast of comedy greats. Been after this for a while. :)
