Re: Lew's blog has ended!!
Not posted on this site for about 3 years. Worth "returning" to voice this. Such terrible news for Lew and such a terrible situation he paints on his blog, all the best for the future to Mr Stringer. If he cannot find an outlet for his artistic skills then I would recommend he writes a book I can th...

Re: Asterix
I am a massive Asterix fan and other fans may be pleased to know that a movie is on the way. I loved the last one (Asterix and the Vikings) and this new one seems to remain faithful to the style and from only a few screenshots you can see that they decided to stay close to the Gaulish village and aw...

Re: Whatever happened to Wayne?
Do you not think that having to draw 10 Kids in every story as well as extras such as Teacher, Cuthbert, Head, Olive etc etc might have something to do with it? I know Leo Baxendale had no worries filling a page with dozens upon dozens of characters each with their own gags like a sort of precursor ...

I donated, giving money's not a problem, now if they can figure out a way of people donating TIME I may get some of my own stuff done! I'm loving what I've seen of Hairy Steve so far and look forward to seeing it in print! Nice work.

Also Dumbo and Moley did not appear in the same film. Moley was in 'The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad' and Dumbo was in, errrm I don't know which film Dumbo was in sorry Hopefully this will help locate the book, look for something were the characters are together.

Re: The DFC rises again... as PHOENIX
So will any of the properties of the DFC be returning? Will we see Fish Head Steve or anything return? I stated FHS as it's being put together as an animation so if that takes off it will be an asset

Re: Beano editor Alan Digby retires
Theres a shame, he was a really nice man. I met him at an exhibit told him I was doing a masters on the effect of british comics humour on animation and he very kindly invited me up to the offices. When I was interviewing him (for my dissertation) he told me he wanted to be a sports reporter for DC ...

Re: Beano Story at The Works
I cannot tell, they are in the 'Local books' section with them being all Scottish and that. So not hanging out of a bargain bin or anything. Has anyone spotted them in England? Incidentally someone told me that her brother works for DC Thomson and they are closing a lot of their offices off. I don't...

Re: MARVO THE WONDER CHICKEN!
These things take time Digifiend. You have to sell your animation to distributors before it gets put on the telly, right now its doing the festivals and no doubt a heck of a lot of effort is being put into finding the right distributor. Animations going through a real tough time at the moment no one...
