Re: What Girls Comics Would You Consider Reading/Collecting
IPC's Misty and DCT's Spellbound would be my choice.

Re: DR WHO:WAR GAMES COLOURIZATION
I liked it but agree that it would have been better with extra time added. I also liked the inference that the War Chief was an early incarnation of the Master. However, rather than seeing Patrick Troughton's Doctor fully regenerating into Jon Pertwee; it would have been interesting if Troughton had...

Re: Ncuti Gatwa Axed From Dr Who
Hi, Jim. As you can see from the last episode, Ncuti Gatwa left Doctor Who rather than got sacked due to his political views. In fact his latest reason is that he said he was too old for the part.

Re: REVISITING COLIN BAKER AS THE DOCTOR
Hi, Jim.
Have you heard of Big Finish? They produce full cast Doctor Who audio adventures and a lot of Colin Baker's are amongst the best.

Abyss; first have to say how envious I am over your Dandy collection.
I take it that you aiming to collect the full run of The Dandy?
And if so, what years do you have?
Sorry if you have already been asked this.

Re: Your Favourite No.1s
For me, 2000AD No.1 was just about perfect. However my favourite was my introduction to Marvel with Avengers No.1. I read it again and again until the cover came off - and the next issue was even better. The interior, yes. But terrible front cover and boring free gift. Issues 2 and 3 were much bett...

Re: What Girls Comics Would You Consider Reading/Collecting
As a boy, I was never interested in girls comics.
However, thanks to Rebellion, I have become a fan of their stories that have a supernatural/horror theme.
I know a few of their comics from both IPC and DCT featured such stories but the ones that stand out to me are:
Misty
Spellbound

What Girls Comics Would You Consider Reading/Collecting
Are there any girls comics that you would consider reading/collecting (if you are not already)?

Re: Good Morning From Surrey UK
A very belated welcome, Jim.
I used to live in Kent so virtually an ex-neighbour.
For me, Look-In was one of those strange comics, which I did get sporadically at the time, in that I didn't really like it but I loved some of its strips including those that you have mentioned.

I suppose maybe why that it was a good fit when Misty was merged with it (Tammy) in the end.stevezodiac wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025, 19:35Some quite dark stories in Tammy. and No Time for Pat in the Jinty Annual.

Re: What comics did you buy today?
Funnily enough, I found a Misty comic in some comics bought the other day and was suprise to see some good supernatural stories. Was expecting fluffy bunnies and rainbows not vampire rabbits with huge fangs, lol. Misty , like Spellbound , were two girls' comics that had their roots in the sup...

Re: Your Favourite No.1s
I did enjoy Warlord for the medals. Myself and my grandfather really bonded over that. Of course the members of Thomsons' recycling department were never backward in coming forward whenever they sensed an appropriate opportunity, Starscape. The free gift below was issued with The Wizard 899 (Feb. 2...
