Isslord, sorry to hear you wouldn't be interested in the modern comics. TBH, if I alter my scenario so this event happened before I started reading comics, I am not sure I would be either. Now if I was a few years older, I would have gotten into Panini's older range of comics.

Like you and Jim, Sid, I discovered comics in the early 1970s.

My first comics back then would have been Beano, Dandy and Sparky.

Now if that 'me' found himself in 2025 then I don't think I would have found comics interesting. :( Maybe Beano but aren't the kids so well behaved ...

Well I've decided to get my toes wet and join.

I'm a man of mature years who been reading comics since the start of the seventies.

My preference is war comics.

So my current favourite is Commando while my all-time favourite is Warlord followed by Battle.
