Re: Daleks collection
Tried Smith's at Liverpool Street and Victoria stations today. No luck. It's not even on the Smiths website nor Panini's. I give up.

If anyone sees a bloke in a fedora, leather jacket and whip, that's me. Not Indiana Jones but Rotherhithe Mitch and the Elusive Bookazine.

Bunty Book 1987 virus prediction.
Yesterday's Daily Mail had an article and some images from the 1987 Bunty book which had a story about a virus affecting the world in 2020. People were living in a city screened off from the world where a virus had killed millions. It was brought to earth on a space ship. Just noticed it's on the Su...

Re: Daleks collection
I searched hither and thither but with no luck. The WH Smith website doesn't list the magazine. I'm scunnered.

Daleks collection
I looked for this in WH Smith Lewisham today but to no avail. Will persevere. Has anyone bought it? I have the Dalek Chronicles collection from the 1990s but want this one too.

Re: Live action Dennis?
I'm old enough to have watched the original live action Dennis the Menace, albeit the American character, in the sixties. I believe he has my surname - Mitchell.

The Daily Express had celebration pull-outs on Friday, Saturday and today. I got the first two but don't buy a Sunday paper.

I've just noticed that Beezer was for my actual date of birth. I was lucky to be born of a Saturday.

Re: Micron Combat Library
I picked up Combat picture library 193 today. I have indexed it onto Grand Comics Database but they have the cover listed as an Overseas Edition. Looking at their image gallery I see some issues are priced at 1/3 whereas most are 1/-. Am I right in assuming the 1/3 issues are overseas copies?

Re: Not just any old East London pie and mash shop
In Dempsey and Makepiece on Forces TV last night they staked out Bunters Pie and Mash shop. I don't remember it but a friend tells me it was in Albion Street just down the road from here and he ate in there once. It had Billy Bunter images on the wall.
