Re: Donald Trump/'Bad Bob Booth'

Anyone remember that Nixon sent in the State Troopers on `Kent State` university in 1970- and look what happened there!

I'm unapologetic about voting for `out of Europe` Glad to have done so - and I voted to stay in in 75!

Got a gorgeous copy of `Sparky` issue 74 from 1966. Already had copy- but this one was near mint!! Worth getting!

Re: Donald Trump/'Bad Bob Booth'

Barry Goldwater would have been a lot worse back in `64`. Anyhow; I voted for Brexit- so i'm used to this kind of thing! The EU is a far bigger threat in my opinion!

Re: What comics did you buy today?

At the moment- i'm after some of the later copies of `FANTASTIC` Nos 84, 86/7/8 In some ways- though only b/w the artwork looked better than US originals because pages were larger. Example is Fantastic no 73, the large `Dr Strange` 2 pager! Looks great!

Re: Sparky 1965 to 1973

Thanks Digi! Snip & Snap were a rather overlooked `Gem` in Spaky's history- hence my highlighting them in the file!

Re: Sparky 1965 to 1973

That's the one! I was informed on this site that they later appeared in the `Dandy` as the `Red Hot Chilli Dogs` but whether they were drawn by same artist- I don't know!

Said artist who drew `Snip & Snap` in Sparky also drew `Jumbo and Jet` sadly, no where as funny to me!

Re: Sparky 1965 to 1973

Chris! `Snip & Snap` are a really funny strip! I highlighted their `adventures` in my `Sparky-File` (A Personal & Illustrated history of the comic on `word`) My favourite was the one where they broke a Window- but tried to get Postie to take the blame! In the final panel, Both dogs and Postie hiding...
