I did a freelancing stint at BBC Worldwide [though working in a different department], the comic is a massive seller for them (sometimes 120,000 sales per issue - which is more than most 2000ad's at their most popular). Sales sometimes speak for themselves.

"Old size 2000ad" bags are the best for the IPC / Fleetway comics. Acid free ones are good for the comic paper (often poor quality). Ideally though they should be stored at room temperature. NOT in the loft, where the temperature can be too cold - though this saves space elsewhere.

I saw the LAST ever issue go for ?40 on ebay at the beginning of 2007, though some issues only ever get very small bids on ebay, probably the condition is important and if you still have the free gift, worth keeping for nostalgic reasons though.

Yes I remember this, my grandad used to buy it for me and my sister. Lots of comics like Jinty and Misty merged with it.
