Why not call it 'British Comics Fair' then? I, for one, wouldn't even bother reading something so niche as Commando if I saw that advertised but would be well up for Brit-comics.

It does raise the eyebrows. Loved Star*Lord but the annuals were pretty poor.

With the banned issue? Probably is a bargain. However, I don't think it is. Really nice collection though.

Will there be a market for already reprinted Charley's War? Maybe telephone directory ones. Not so sure about expensive hardbacks, given they already exist.

Bought a load of Wizards and a few Tigers from a charity shop in Edinburgh. 3 for £1. There was a good load of Marvel UK too but at either 50p or £1 each, it just wasn't a good enough deal. Condition distinctly average (i.e. VG or less).

Mostly American apart from that.

In all honesty, if you knocked off the final figure, it would still be a struggle to sell. Which is very disappointing but it's supply-and-demand.

Did youask for a discount due to a name in pencil on the front :lol: I picked up a virtually complete collection along with a load of Terrifics from Arthur's in Glasgow (some of our older readers may remember that Western-obsessed man). Probably about £20 or something for the lot. After all, it was ...

And I continued to expand my collection of comics from around the world when a very nice Finn send me four copies of Korkeajännitys aka High Voltage. Now all I need is Starscape to find me a copy of one of the Middle East ones and then I have at least examples of each of the known licensed versions...

The Kirkman series is supposed to be great. In the US, it's on after the Walking Dead. However, to get AMC, you have to have the BT Sport package. Although I have this, it's through a third-party, so don't get access to AMC (which only had Fear The Walking Dead and a whole loadof rubbish).
