Re: New eBay rules
You do have the option of transferring any funds to your bank account straight away. That's how it worked when I first joined eBay in 2006.

Re: New eBay rules
I've googled Simple Delivery and it looks like the most complicated thing in the solar system. Will I still be allowed to send items by royal mail as I've always done up till now?

Re: New eBay rules
I received an email from ebay this morning with the new seller rules. It all seems unnecessary. It says that if I send an item by tracked service the funds will be sent to me once eBay receives confirmation of delivery. Does this mean that the buyer still has to pay immediately (or thereabouts) and ...

Re: Beano #1 with free gift
I think current fees are 15% plus VAT. So a £26,000 price would add £3,900 plus £780 VAT. I like doing these calculations in my head when watching antiques shows just to keep my mind sharp.

Re: DR WHO: THE EDGE OF DESTRUCTION (1964)
No thats OK. I hadn't seen the previous posts explaining it but the lack of votes suggests not a lot of interest. I was lucky enough to be watching Dr. Who during the Hartnell period and my earliest memory is the Zarbi. Giant ants with human legs.

Re: REWIND TV
There were some Mike Yarwood shows repeated on That's TV (I think) earlier this year and I never thought he was a good impressionist first time around but these repeats just confirmed it. Sun tv critic Ally Ross agreed with me. DavidKW - which team were you following on final score? It would be nice...

Re: REWIND TV
Watched Police Woman on Rewind last night where she goes under cover in a women's prison. In one scene she is in her cell reading a comic. Looked like Adventure Comic but I couldn't find the cover on GCD.

Re: New eBay rules
If this rule comes in there will be thousands of bad guys opening an ebay account, buying something very valuable and then closing their account upon receipt of the item. EBay staff will be overwhelmed by complaints. Seems like a foolhardy change.

New eBay rules
Just heard about new ebay rules in 2025. See below: In fresh terms and conditions emailed out to sellers last week, eBay said that "proceeds from the sales of private or non-professional sellers will become available for disbursement after the item is deemed delivered to its shipping destination". E...

Re: Complete Collections
I saw a load of the Alan Class printing plates at Kempton Park Antiques Fair a year or so ago but they were too heavy to buy the lot and probably too much money for me to spend on an unknown media.

Me too. I also have the pocket sized facsimile that you cut from the pages of Buster and folded. All black and white though.
