Re: Rugby world cup.
Oh well if we're only "ok" then that really means we're mince :) - I reckon that New Zealand will win it they have looked amazing, (never under estimate the Australians or South Africa though) Ireland could go far (hope Wales do well also - and England are already at the next stage). Whatever the ou...

Re: The end of Highland Toffee?
As I kid I never liked Flying Saucers they were over before you knew it (hate the feel of polystyrene and cotton wool arghh). Sadly I'm at the age where I go to nostalgia sweet shops and start trying old stuff mostly to my disappointment as my palate has changed as I get older of all my old favs (MB...

Re: The End of the Blue Peter Annual?
I used to love Blue Peter as a young kid especially at Christmas time but I never ever was interested in the annual. After the age of about 9/10 I got fed up with BP and progs like Crackerjack ("Crakerjack" lol) - I was more a Magpie lad myself moslty due to the effect Susan Stranks had on me strang...

Re: Rugby world cup.
are Scotland poor at Rugby? (are Ireland good?) I though we (Scotland) were ok not great but above average? Saying that I just watched Scotland snatch defeat from the jaws of victory against Argentina to set up a heroic defeat against England in the last game no doubt (or a total gubbing - more like...

Re: The end of Highland Toffee?
According to the Glasgow Evening Times it It looks like they may be saved as an invester is going to err invest - amazed its in trouble when it sell 11 million bars of its toffee a year, maybe the lack of free sweeties in comics has had its effects.

Concerning the overseas prices I always found it strange that Malta was on the list (for so long) all the others I understand as ex colonies and with massive UK expat populations (New Zealand etc). Older versions of Buster and others had even more countries noted (18 in this case) inc Denmark, Portu...
