Yea I have the song book.
I think the one on amazon is the one that was issued with the wizard?. That’s the one that shows up fairly commonly. But then again maybe I’ve getting confuddled...
I really should get a copy of Derek’s book...

Re: What comics did you buy today?
Purchases wise I haven’t really bought much, I have picked up: Large amount of 1951 Beanos 1st Shiver and Shake Christmas holiday special Mandrake the Magician #1 pub by Miller, which I’ve never had before so that’s fun All the free gifts that go with that run of Rocket from 1923, so I’m going to ge...

Re: Ebay - you want how much for it???
I'm not a collector of girls comics but these seem a little pricy to me! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/job-lot-over-300-issues-Princess-Tina-1967-1973-and-2x-Annuals/273107286032?hash=item3f96767810:g:QuMAAOSwtnpXkT5R https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jinty-job-lot-1974-21-Nov-1981-Final-issue-COMPLETE-RUN/2...

Re: What comics did you buy today?
Picked up 2000AD - was proclaimed as a jumping on issue on the cover, with new story starts for all characters. Definite improvement over the last few months issues - but going by the amount of Mega City based stories they may have well have called it the Judge Dredd Megazine II. We have a Judge Dre...

They would be the ones, yes. To anyone considering them, a few have over half the back page cut out too, caveat emptor.

Re: What comics DIDN'T you buy today?
Well I can add the Greyfriars Herald to this thread too...
I had to send them back as practically all of them had large chunks cut out.
I guess the sellers idea of complete and mine varied somewhat.

Re: Ebay - you want how much for it???
Looks like Phil has pulled all the bids anyways so they must have been mistakes. He actually does have the Clapton cover listed as well, which is around £80 atm.

Re: Ebay - you want how much for it???
Well that beano is just very odd! If that sale is completed I’d be utterly shocked. The Star Lord annual does smack of shill bidding, but the winner did also lay multiple bids so if I had to guess it looks more like auction fever than actual shilling. The Beano though... no idea. Phil does seem to h...

Re: What comics did you buy today?
I already did that, it doesn’t say for certain that the herald has the first appearance. Suggests that it is but if anyone knows any different... Arsene Lupin versus Herlock Sholmes published 1910 written by Maurice Leblanc. Well that’s definately muddied the water. I wonder if it’s the same ‘pasti...

The pic is too blurry to see :?: Yellow Rose Of Texas, Old Chisholm Trail, Home on the Range, Big Rock Candy Mountain, Tom Dooley, Down in the Valley, ...

Re: What comics did you buy today?
Near full run of the Greyfriars Herald from 1915.
Now I bought these as I think they feature the first app of Hemlock Sholmes by Charles Hamilton (aka Frank Richards etc). If anyone knows for sure?

Re: What comics did you buy today?
The first 26 issues of Rocket from 1923. Aaaaaah, it was you that beat me to those then! Nice win. I'd be interested in what exactly the additions at the beginning of the volume were Well now, here’s the thing, I’d assumed that they are cut out from the actual comics themselves, as one bit is obvio...
