Great stuff! Imitating the popularity of the TV program Not the 9 0clock news at the time. Might keep my eyes open for that.

I have been very busy this last few weeks.

I have picked up the Cor!! summer special, as well as the Nipper holiday special.

I have also picked up No. 7 (but there was two comics in the bundle, so it has got me wondering what the other one is? I will know when it arrives here soon.)

I also picked up the nursery comic Teddy Bear from the week I was born.

Coming in the next couple of days, though is No. 1960 of the Topper, the final newsprint issue of Whizzer and Chips (6/6/1987) and the Beezer Book 1981.

Only three issues of the 1990 issues of the Topper to go.

Talking of Whizzer & Chips, the first merge issue with Scouse Mouse is on its way to me.

An update to my previous post.

I got my parcel this afternoon, and the second comic turned out to be Prog. 780 of 2000AD.

I'm still waiting for the Evil Genius special No. 2 from Rebellion. I should get that either tomorrow, or on Monday due to Australia Post delivering letters every second day, due to COVID-19. parcels are still being delivered every day, though.

Picked up Yogi Bear Picture Book and Deputy Dawg Picture Book on Wednesday. Misleading titles as they are 32 pages of American comic strips. They were given away at Total petrol stations in 1973 and cost me £1 each. I've added them to the grand comics database.

My order from 30th Century Comics arrived this morning with some Classics Illustrated - I only collect particular issues, Holmes, Verne, Wilkie Collins etc - A Ron Turner Rick Random, SDL 44, and the Ashford/Holland Cowboy Comics guide.

Back with a bumper Beano stash.

I didn't want to say anything until now in case I had Jonahed myself

I bought a selection of issues from the late 50's until 2016, including the reproduction of No. 1000.

I will be sending it on to myself next week.

Hey, well done. Nice when that happens. Had a similar experience myself. I couldn't wait to get home to count and grade the issues. Was in seventh heaven. 🙂
