I had Wonder Weekly #1, the Esso comic from 1968 delivered this morning. I’ve been after it for years, so very happy to finally get it in my collection.

I dropped out of the bidding on that before it got to a tenner - glad it's gone to a good home though!

I can’t remember seeing one for sale before, so I was pretty adamant I was getting this one. Lovely condition.

All the issues I've found so far. There's a lot to go as I've never seen an issue higher than #25!

The following Buster comics arrived this morning:

19th December 1964
21st November 1964
6th June 1964

18th November 1961
11th November 1961

3rd December 1960
26th November 1960
19th November 1960
15th October 1960
24th September 1960
30th July 1960
23rd July 1960
16th July 1960

I am now only missing 3 issues to complete the year 1960.

Total Buster comics collected so far between the years 1960 - 1981 is 636 issues not including Summer / Puzzle specials & Annuals.

A 1966 June and SF from January 1966 arrived in post this week, complete with original gift of Jimmy Tarbuck's Book Of Stars with a selection of pictures not yet stuck in book. Cost a kidney but worth it. I've just 3 editions short of a J and SF set.

I did see and flick through another copy of that edition of June 29 January - during 2015, at a small exhibitions on girls' comics at Liverpool library. Unfortunately it wasn't for sale. There were a group of young girls there acting as Bunty's The Four Marys. My knowledge of comics impressed the organisers there.

The only other comics I've got with original gifts are 2 June and SFs from 1968 with cardboard horoscope charts with great artworks of two of its strip characters on the back. Both these helped complete my 1968 set.

I don't like Jimmy Tarbuck much though, but I'll ignore that fact for a piece of collectable media and social history.
Very nice items David. :bullseye:

Thanks jim244, not all years are complete runs but I do have all of 1969,1970, 1979-1981. I probably have just under 13 years worth. I still need 458 Busters to complete what I need which is just under 9 years worth of comics.
