Purchased a full set of 1968 Valiants and a full run of Wildcats, both off eBay.
Not only i get the aforementioned through the door, I also got a full set 1967 Valiants as well.

A very happy collector. :D
A full set of both 67 and 68 Valiants is most excellent Sir !

I finally got a "reading copy" of issue 7 of Super Friends, DC seventies.
£30 was great as I just want to complete the collection and this is the most elusive issue with most now going for over a £100 in good condition.

Bought myself a Dandy comic no.78 from1939, issue no.389 1949, 15 Dandy comics from 1953/54, and two Buster comics from 1994/95 that contained some Lew Stringer Tom Thug artwork I recently obtained. Will try to upload all asap. :)

Thanks jim244. Very pleased with the 1939 issue. Also, did a bit of checking the other day and realised I only need 23 issues now to complete a full year run of Dandy from 1949. :)

My usual visit to Deptford flea market yesterday. For a mere Lady Godiva I picked up Judy no.1188 dated 16.10.82, Tammy 16.5.81, 30.10.82 x2, 6.11.82, 13.11.82, 20.11.82 and 27.11.82 plus Jinty Annual 1980 and Bunty Book 1999. I bought them just to index onto GCD. My niece has two school age daughters so I'll give them the annuals as they might find them an interesting curiosity.

Nice haul there stevezodiac. Funnily enough, I found a Misty comic in some comics bought the other day and was suprise to see some good supernatural stories. Was expecting fluffy bunnies and rainbows not vampire rabbits with huge fangs, lol.

Misty, like Spellbound, were two girls' comics that had their roots in the supernatural. If you are interested, Abyss, you may like to look at some of the collections that Rebellion have been producing. They are really good. :D

There are three Misty collected volumes for sale at the 2000 AD Shop website which I have bought and are rather good. There's also a Spellbound kindle collection on Amazon. If you are interested, just look for "Spellbound Damian Darke" (have got that too :D ).

I suppose maybe why that it was a good fit when Misty was merged with it (Tammy) in the end.
