John Wagner is trying to get hold of old copies of Whizzer & Chips, Cor!, Tammy, Valiant etc? as he's trying to trace some of the old stories he
wrote for them.
If anyone knows a shop or someone who deals in old UK titles it'd be a start. I'm also trying to get John to give me a list of stories he remembers writing so that if anyone recalls the issue they appeared in it'd make the search easier.

Got quite a few Valiants myself. Strange, last time I spoke to him, he didn't seem very interested in talking about it.

FInally got around to sorting out my comics (I'm having a much needed clear up) and sadly all my Lions are from 69/70 (nothing in the 1970 ones or the one 71 issue from feb).
Most of my valiants are from 67, but I have five from April, July and August 76 which feature one-eyed Jack, if they are of use.
I do have the first issue of battle, but I'm guessing you've found that by nw. if not, let me kmow what you want.
Sorry that's as good as it gets I had hoped for more.
All the best
