I’m awaiting a large pile of very early Tammy comics from 1971 & 1972, created under the heavy influence of Pat Mills, with tales of working class girls living lives of terror and disappointment against foes such as Ma Thatcher. Very Mills!

Thanks Richard S. Yeah, they're all in nice order, in particular the Christmas Beano No.547, which is crisp throughout and has clean white pages. Don't think it's ever been read? But If it has the kid must have been an angel. I would have wrecked it.🙂

Beautiful comics Abyss but not Xmas issues Beano no545 would have been the Xmas issue for 1952.

Thanks Kashgar. Yeah, you're right. Always making that mistake with snowcapped issues. I see snow and automatically think Christmas. 🙂

I agree. Nothing like a snowbound cover to make you think of Xmas!

Thanks 'Into The Abyss'! 1960's Busters seem to be getting scarce so it was nice to find a few early ones. I now have over 500 Buster comics from between the years 1960-1981 after 5 years of collecting, having previously sold my entire Buster collection of about 600 comics in 2012
