I know that Steve has a massive comic collection because over the years he has told us on a number of occasions that he has a special storage unit for them. However, I don't think that is what he is referring to here because an example only refers to one comic. For example, until recently he didn't have any issues of The Red Arrow. I sent him one so now he has an example of The Red Arrow. If Steve's collection was made up purely of one example of every comic that had ever been printed he would hardly need a storage unit.

Actually I don't have many girl's comics just a few examples picked up cheaply at ephemera fairs. I have number 1 of Bunty and number 1 of Girl (The Eagle companion). I did have nice runs of Sally and Sandie but sold them which I now regret as, being a big fan of Mike Brown, can no longer enjoy his Wendy Witch and Brenda's Brownies in the latter. I have a large number of Princesses which I am gradually selling on ebay. I am rather happy to have the first ten or twelve issus of School-Days the first two issues of which you can see in the gallery here. Nicely designed covers.

I've also got the first 12 issues of School Days in a bound album. I love the articles on how to make your frock look pretty for parties and the pin-ups of HRH Prince of Wales!

That would be Edward, who for a fleeting period became King Edward VIII.

Not on eBay, but Metropolis comics want $1000 for a CGC 9.6 copy of Marvel UK's Spider-Man Weekly feat. the first appearance of the Punisher (in a reprint, it's not a 'variant'). Impressive number, especially as I have two of these somewhere!

Another seller seems to equate old with valuable as they want £75.00 for this first issue of Warlord. Excuse me while I put my "he saw me coming" hat on....
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Just got this e-mail from my mate, Steve 2:

Dandy 3007, with free gift, is on ebay for £3,500. This has to exceed the stupidity of the people putting on Beano #1 facsimiles at high prices.
