Christmas 2016 - What Did You Get for Xmas?

I thought that there were fewer books aimed at the christmas market this year by this I mean less best of -- type books
or other coffee table books.It also seems less quantities of each annual were printed with after christmas copies of the Broons, beano annuals etc. Harder to find.
I noticed the Beano annual concentrated on humour strips and dropped the adventure strips so I assume they think this is best way to increase sales, personally I used to like some of the wacky adventure stories.
As christmas approached I was expecting lots of gift books for sale but they didn't materialise.

beano annual was quite hard to find this year and ive only seen dandy annual in the sales so far not a beano book in sight .
