EUROPEAN strips in UK `Fun` titles!

Post by alanultron5 »

I don't know if there were many, but I can recall a few European originated strips in DCT `Fun` titles! In Topper in very early 60s was the Scandinavian "Katsenjammer Kids" only half page I think.

In Sparky, in its first year (1965) was "Minnie-Ha-Ha" which Ray Moore (Kashgar) thinks is French in origin. 1968 was the year that Sparky imported European strips. Three no less from Belgium, "Big Billy Bigg" (1968-69) the "Snooks" and the nine week run of "Clever Claire"

Anyone know of any others?
