Does anyone know roughly how many instalments/chapters of The Leopard from Lime Street there were? (out of interest) I am assuming the story took a break every so often. Otherwise with the first volume being 160 pages I would make that about 8 volumes to cover the story . over the 9 years. Not that i would be complaining I am psyched for this one.

I have just finished reading it and the forward by Steve Holland states there is 50 stories 470 episodes.i don't know about annuals or summer specials though.i was comparing the book to my originals and they have done a lovely job even getting rid of the continued overleaf blurb from the weekly comics.i also didn't realise how yellow my comics were compared to the crisp white pages in the book

With all these new rebellion books, wonder if they should have their own forum group.

Got my copy of Leopard from Lime Street yesterday, really good reproduction, loving the art work. I really never picked up on how much similar it is to Spiderman when I was younger, perhaps because I didn't read any Spiderman comics until much later. I notice the costume changed a bit a few episodes in which is mentioned in the comic, I quite liked the original mask, I wonder was it too detailed so they decided to switch to simpler one or maybe because the original didn't give room for much facial expression.

Also the previews of whats to come from Rebellion is exciting.

Yes I have to concur, Rebellion have an excellent job on the production, quality paper
and great wrap round cover.

Does anyone know if the hookjaw book will have be re-coloured? If my memory serves me right due to the poor quality of newsprint the colour was very dull.

Thank you for the Speedyhen tip

I'm guessing Hook Jaw will reproduce the colour pages in greyscale, like Titan did with their Charley's War, Rat Pack, and Johnny Red books, but it'd be nice if they did retain the colour. I very much doubt they'll go to the expense of recolouring the later newsprint strips.

Simply a mistake by Amazon, confusing the content with Titan's other Hook Jaw book that collects the new stuff.

Would like to see "The Hunters" from Battle get a collected edition, there was some pretty good story lines, I am doubting Rebellion have the license for the Action Force stuff. Sadly the comic lost its way when Mattel toys took over Action man in the late 80s.

No, Rebellion won't have the rights to reprint any of the toy line stuff like Action Force, Mask, etc. They only bought from Egmont what Egmont had acquired from IPC years ago. I'm sure they could negotiate with the licence holders but I can't see that being a priority while they have loads of their own recently-acquired material to reprint.
