If I could, I would. To Kill A Rat has been used again but in the alternate use, the patrol were rescued as his Uncle had only pretended to murder them. As to what issue it is in, when I find it, I will let you know.

I have not had a chance to fully read the entries but I do like how in-depth you have gone into each story. I have skimmed the entry for Focke-Wulf Hi-Jack and it is not surprising to find that the story is based on a true story as some of the writers will use their personal experiences and their research to flesh out a story and that can have some serendipitous results.

The cover is Ian Kennedy. The internal art is Pat Wright and the writer is R A Montague. Can you do me a favour and have a look at one of my articles as there is an artist that drew Reluctant Hero for the 1990 Commando annual and I am sure that he did a lot of work for Nikki. It is the last picture of the article.

Thank you for the information. And I think the artist in question is Phil Gascoine. Here's his gallery page and some Gascoine stories on the Jinty blog so you can compare.

You little beauty Tammy! I completely agree and it is interesting that Phil had already been mentioned in connection with the annual but as one of the missing cover artists. Either PM me or get me through the blog or social media as I will need to firm up crediting you.
