Big Friends and Little Friends - Commando 1277

Post by colcool007 »

OK, so I have been going through box 2 of my latest haul of Commandos and enjoying them immensely and I have rediscovered this little gem. Now it is easy to spot that the cover art is another classic by Ian Kennedy, but this time it is the internal artist that is bugging me. I keep looking at the art and swear that I should be able to identify them but the style is eluding me. So, I am going to throw this query to you all. Who drew this? A couple of ropy phone pics to get you all started.

If you want a better quality scan then let me know and I will post them.

Took advantage of meeting the Commando team at the weekend and have now identified this artist as Flores. Now as to which Flores it is, that is a fine question!

Just to add to this, I have found another Commado with internal art by Flores. It is Issue 1310 and is titled Flying Destroyer
