Hey Peter (and anyone else!), if you're interested there's a new entry on my blog about how the Mighty M developed from a bunch of random sketches of an unnamed animal band I doodled about five years ago. I'm looking forward to seeing the li'l scamps in the DFC - and I'm about to embark on a second story arc, to be published sometime in the new year. Yay!

Keep an eye on your subscription Peter. Apparently mine expired with No.25, even though I'd paid up to No.26.

They're quick at sending out renewal forms though. I've had two of those this week.

Cheers Peter ^_^

Lew, give them a prod. If you've paid for up to issue 26, they should bloomin' well send you issue 26! (although if you want to buy it in Tesco as well, do feel free ;) )

Unfortunately several calls to their subscription department were met with an automated message (which sounded like David Fickling himself) saying their operators were busy. As I've already wasted more than the comic's cover price in a vain hope to find it in Tesco I'm giving it up as a bad job I'm afraid.

Gaaaah! And also, Gaaaaah! >_<

I gather that it's not appearing in branches of Tesco Express (stands to reason I suppose, since their range of mags is limited anyway). But I've heard from people who've successfully bought it, so it *is* out there (in 647 branches, to be exact). I've not had a chance to visit my nearest non-Express branch yet - will report back on that within the next few days.

My local Tesco is moderately sized and not an Express, unless they've designated it as one without changing the frontage. (Well, I say "local" but it's in the next town.) Could be that not every shop has received their copies on the same day I suppose.

Got mine in a Tesco Extra in a Latest Issue plinth alongside other comics and women's magzines.
In my opinion, anyone who voluntarily shops in Tesco's needs their bumps felt. One word. De-press-ing. Tantamount to Argos, whose potals shall never see my like again.

Please forgive me my missing letters. Several glasses of a nice shiraz. In the words of Mr. Stan Lee - " 'Nuff said".
