I finally got to see via TPTV Encore last Sunday's (03/11/24) edition of The Footage Detectives,(after I got distracted on Sunday), yesterday afternoon.

I got a mention on that edition with my wide information of the brilliant 60s group Sounds Incorporated.
Congrats Sir.

Just watched an episode of an American 1964 tv series that I have never heard of before.
"The Rogues".
It's like an early version of "Hustle".
David Niven, Larry Hagman, Charles Boyer.
Absolutely brilliant !!!

Supercar coming very soon and that's a show that hasn't been repeated for ages on a UK free channel. Actually.... has it ever been repeated on UK TV? (Bravo and Sky don't count).

I watched it first time round and am pretty sure it was never repeated. Looking forward to seeing it again. Having the surname Mitchell my mates quickly called me Mitch Monk after the Monkey called Mitch in the series. I tried to convince them it was called Match due to the boy's accent when calling to it.

I can still sing the theme song after 60 years.

Agreed Steve, I don't think it was ever repeated.
Whilst I read some of the comics in old annuals bought from jumble sales, I have only ever seen a couple of episodes that were included on Space 1999 video releases.
Thought about buying the set on DVD and will do one day as have most Anderson stuff apart from Joe 90 and Terrahawks.
Funny story about your boyhood days !

Just watching an episode of a Western on this channel called "Stagecoach West".
It's a 1960s series and it's absolutely brilliant BUT I have never heard of it or seen it before.
Steve Zodiac, you are a bit of an expert in these matters, do you know this TV series?

Just realised the guy that I thought I recognised playing Luke is Wayne Rogers !!!!
The guy that plays Trapper in my favourite TV series of all time M.A.S.H. !!!
How bizzare is that !!!!!

It wasn't shown in the UK during its original transmission, same goes for Black Saddle which TPTV also shows. Talking Pictures have acquired the rights to a lot of Four Star produced shows. You should check out Wanted Dead or Alive on Great Action. Steve McQueen western series where he uses his famous cut down Winchester carbine nicknamed a Mare's Leg. Woody Strode used one in the opening scene from Once Upon a Time in the West which was Sergio Leone's nod to the series.

Appreciate the information Steve.
Never seen "Black Saddle", will try and watch.
I have seen a couple of episodes of "Wanted" years ago, don't know if I have Great Action channel ,will check.
Excellent that Sergio did that, had no idea.
The "Once" film is first in a trilogy after his famous Spaghetti Westerns with Clint Eastwood but have to admit, only got the first one on DVD, great film.
Are the other 2 any good?
I have probably seen them at some point.
