REWIND TV
Re: REWIND TV
Was watching the Prisoner tonight on this fine channel and they showed the final episode, which I have seen many times but tonight my wife mentioned something that despite me having the series on vhs and now dvd I HAD NEVER NOTICED BEFORE....
Re: REWIND TV
Further Rewind TV news........
Steve Zodiac ( forum member ,not the actual Fireball XL5 pilot, although who knows???)
said that the Zoo Gang would be on this channel.
They showed a promotion for this tonight after The Prisoner ended.
I think therefore it's to replace The Prisoner on Wednesday when the channel goes freeview.
WEDNESDAY EVERYONE !!!!

Re: REWIND TV
I saw the last two episodes of the Prisoner which in my opinion are some of the greatest tv I've ever seen. Written and directed by Patrick McGoohan after Lew Grade told him to finish the series abruptly as it wasn't popular. Sadly London Live always omitted the closing credits sequence but luckily Legend Xtra showed them the week before last and I recorded them onto a USB stick.

Re: REWIND TV
I've retuned twice but no sign of Rewind TV, my Manhattan box usually finds new channels automatically.

Re: REWIND TV
Looking at X someone suggests new channels only show up after 9am.

Re: REWIND TV
Got it now but not a lot that interests me, too many 80s/90s sitcoms. It's like That's TV, whenever I tune in for Steptoe and Son I catch the end of Shameless which looks like the most awful show of all time, same goes for Benidorm.

Great that you now have it.stevezodiac wrote: ↑18 Sep 2024, 15:22Got it now but not a lot that interests me, too many 80s/90s sitcoms. It's like That's TV, whenever I tune in for Steptoe and Son I catch the end of Shameless which looks like the most awful show of all time, same goes for Benidorm.
I agree that the afternoon programs can be a bit dire!

Re: REWIND TV
Department S on now, already identified Anthony Hopkins, Nosher Powell and Eleanor Summerfield before opening credits.
Greatest theme music in TV history.

Re: REWIND TV
Great actor identification btw, took me 5 mins to realise Gregg was Antony Hopkins,I recognised him but my brain needed a few minutes to get it .jim244 wrote: ↑18 Sep 2024, 20:13Also watching and agreed: Greatest TV theme ever !!!stevezodiac wrote: ↑18 Sep 2024, 20:05Department S on now, already identified Anthony Hopkins, Nosher Powell and Eleanor Summerfield before opening credits.

Re: REWIND TV
In my opinion I agree with you but you can understand how frustrating it was for the viewing public at the time trying to solve the mystery and hoping for the answer in episode 17.stevezodiac wrote: ↑17 Sep 2024, 10:05I saw the last two episodes of the Prisoner which in my opinion are some of the greatest tv I've ever seen. There were letters of outrage and McGoohan had to go into hiding.
